. reporting live, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> in san jose, police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who killed a man in san jose this morning. the collision took place just after 6 a.m. on allen rock avenue near the intersection with jackson avenue. police say the man was crossing about 30 feet away from the crosswalk and died at the scene. investigators say they don't have a whole lot to go on. >> all we have on that vehicle is it's a dark-colored sedan, unknown make or model. we're still talking to witnesses right now. >> a second vehicle also hit the man. that driver stopped and cooperated with police. >>> earlier this morning, divers recovered the body of a 59-year-old man from a quarry in oakland. he apparently fell from a cliff above. this is all right next to the rockridge shopping center. authorities say andrew malyon's roommate told them he had gone to look for his cat last night in the rain and never returned. the fire department called in the sheriff's dive team and just after midnight, they located him, underwater, after a five-hour search. >> it's raining and it's wet back there,

wong, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> and ktvu mark tamayo has noticed a change in the wind over the past few hours. mark is live at the richmond/san rafael toll plaza with what drivers can expect. >> reporter: hi, tori. the rainfall has picked you and the winds have, too. the winds are gonna add problems. you can see the wind is to the too strong, about 2 to 3 miles an hour. very light but about a minute ago, this gust was around 16, 17 miles an hour. the national weather service has issued the wind advisory that steve will be talking about. this is a recent development probably for the last five minutes. i've been tracking a few light showers. the weather pattern has been changing. with that the cybers, if the drivers -- drivers, if they do encounter the winds, you get the southerly winds hitting the side of your car. it's not too bad here but once you cross the span, it could notice your lane condition. so be careful of that and the skyline, a lot of storm clouds out there. within the last five minutes, those rain showers have been pushing back into the region -- steve, i can verify that,

. this is the ktvu channel 2 news at 6:00. >> good evening, i'm ken pritchett in tonight for ken wayne. >> i'm heather holmes. >>> in oakland, the past 24 hours a lone, four people have been shot and killed. ktvu's cara liu tells us at least two of the victim were teenagers r. gunfire flashing lights and homicide investigators is what people woke up to this morning. >> seemed like a lot of shots, 15, 20. >> reporter: neighbor adam poe and his 2- year-old daughter were a sleep a few houses away. police were unable to say whether the two women who died lived in the area or what the motive may have been. >> when the officers arrived they found two females unresponsive in the street area. >> reporter: saturday morning police were out on 28th avenue after an 18- year-old woman was shot and killed. police say they are investigating whether domestic violence was to blame and saturday afternoon a young man was gunned down here in the street at 59th and san pablo. leslie phillips wanted to light candles to remember the victim. >> that boy was 19 years old. >> reporter: she runs a group that teach

live in oakland, lorraine blanco, ktvu channel 2 news. >>> thank you, lorraine and here is a live look picture from our roof cam looking towards san francisco. you can't see very far. it's very foggy in some parts of the bay area. now, we just spoke to the duty manager at sfo. he says the fog is expected to cause delays of more than an hour most of the day. those delays are expected to begin around 8:00 a.m. and continue until at least 3:00 in the afternoon. again, this is at sfo. the fog is expected to cause delays at the airports in oakland and san jose. a lot of people heading back home after the thanksgiving holiday. you should call ahead, though, if you are heading to the airport this morning. >>> 7:03. well a carbon monoxide scare in san francisco sense more than a dozen people to the hospital and -- sent more than a dozen people to the hospital and there's still a search of where it came from. ktvu's alex savidge is in san francisco. you've been on the story since 4:30. investigators are having a hard time finding answers. >> reporter: it's certainly been a challenge to figure o

sasaki, ktvu channel 2 news. >> we have significant weather out there in the pacific. take a look, live storm tracker shows you rain but also the massive system. most of the activity is going to fall north of this line. so the cold front lies pretty much right now just north of the bay area proper. up towards santa rosa coming in close. what you'll see is the heavier rain showers. that's the front. it's not moving. this thing is dragging. it's going to be slow. typically a front would roll through the bay area in a few hours. it's not. it's just sitting up there. you can see heavier rain just north up towards the fountain grove area. they're getting heavy rain. we'll head out towards the park area a little further south. you have a little bit of a break there as those showers are stopping around pepper road. you go south and there's not that much activity. we take another stop. we go over to napa. showers and light drizzle all day. those showers will pick up in the next couple of hours or so. this is a slow mover so the rest of the bay area going what's the big deal. i am seeing showers
